Cancer Mentoring & Support
Receiving a cancer diagnosis can be frightening and upsetting, and for many living with cancer can be a lonely journey as it affects not just the person with the diagnosis, but everyone that surrounds them as well as their body, mind and spirit.
If the reason you are here is that you have had a cancer diagnosis, I want you to know that you are not alone. As a cancer support coach and mentor, I am here to guide, empower and support you on your healing journey and help you through any challenges you are faced with and to support you to take back some control and help you to make the right decisions for you in order to best support your health and wellbeing at this turbulent time in your life.
I offer one-off support sessions (whatever stage you may be at on your cancer journey) or a six-month cancer support programme, The Cancer Lifeline Programme, created by Integrative Health Consultant Dr. Rosy Daniel, Director of Health Creation and former Medical Director and CEO at Bristol Cancer Help Centre, now Penny Brohn.
A cancer diagnosis is a life changing experience, and as strange as it sounds, so much more than just a death sentence or health crisis. It is an opportunity to get your health and life back on track, a chance to take massive action and a possibility to come out the other end stronger and happier than before your diagnosis.
There are many people who are living to tell the tale and who have beaten cancer against all odds and because of it they are able to see their diagnosis as a blessing due to the changes they have made to their health and lifestyle.
Cancer Lifeline Programme
The Cancer Lifeline Programme is a comprehensive guide and mentorship programme to support anyone affected by cancer. It covers each stage of a person’s cancer journey, from diagnosis and treatment, to nutrition and supplements and help with symptoms and side effects and further support onto the road to recovery. The programme has been developed by Dr Rosy Daniel to support those affected by cancer and empower them to take back some of the control lost with a cancer diagnosis in order to make their cancer journey more manageable. By using the programme, with my support, you will quickly realise that you are by far the most powerful member of your cancer management team.
The programme covers many different topics, including:
The shock and trauma of diagnosis
How to create a support network
Research, information gathering in order to make the right treatment decisions for you
How to prepare well for your treatment, psychologically, physically and practically in order to get the best treatment outcomes
Rest and recovery after treatment
How to get you onto the road to recovery (see more details under The Health Creation Programme) once you have had the all clear or feel ready to move onto the next step.
